ABOUT US

Grand Canyon Coaches has been providing bus tour and transportation services to Grand Canyon visitors for nearly 20 years. The company opened its services in Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona originally to provide Grand Canyon bus tours to guests arriving in from Phoenix, AZ and Las Vegas, NV to Grand Canyon National Park airport (GCN). Over the next 14 years Grand Canyon Coaches grew to become one of the premier bus tour providers in the Grand Canyon / Northern Arizona area.

In 2005 we brought our Grand Canyon bus tour expertise to the Las Vegas area. Utilizing preferred partner and codeshare relationships Grand Canyon Coaches launched a series of new ground and air combination tours to both rims of the canyon originating from the Las Vegas area. The tours were an immediate success and from that point on our company has expanded both in fleet capacity and in amenities.

Currently, Grand Canyon Coaches' Las Vegas area tour terminus is located at the new, state-of-the-art Boulder City Aeroplex; a major hub for both Grand Canyon ground and aerial tours. From this hub we can provide the ultimate in convenience, amenities, and reliability on all of our tours to both rims of the Grand Canyon as well as the world famous Hoover Dam. Additionally, guests can now select between our standard over the road coaches, the staple of the ground tour industry, and platinum first class transportation which feature unprecedented levels of personal comfort and service.

Do I need a Visa or a passport or are there any special health requirements?

All Passengers booked on a tour must have government issued forms of identification, no EXCEPTIONS!

What days do the tours operate?
A
All our tours operate 364 days a year. Tours involving helicopter transportation services may be unavailable on Christmas Day.

What hotels do you pick up from?
A
We provide pickup from most major Las Vegas Strip hotels. In the event that we do not service a specific property the likelihood of a pickup point at a neighboring hotel is very high. Feel free to contact reservations for specific pickup inquiries.

Do you pick up from private residences?
A
No. We offer hotel pick ups only.

Do your tours pick up from McCarren International Airport?
A
Not at this time.

What departure times do you offer?
A
Tours to the west and south rims of Grand Canyon typically depart in the early morning to guarantee ample time on site. Tours to Hoover Dam are available throughout the day.

Do your tours operate on Christmas or any other public holiday?
A
We are open and operating every day during the year. However, some tours and optional add-ons are unavailable on Christmas Day.

I am not staying at a hotel. Can I still get a pickup?
A
We offer hotel pick ups only. However, a passenger does not need to be staying at a hotel to be picked up at one. Passenger making their way to the nearest major hotel can be picked up by one of our shuttles. Please contact reservations to make arrangements.

Is my credit card safe?
A
We use industry standard security methods and encryption to protect both your credit card and your personal information during the booking process! Additionally we only keep your card information on hand long enough to process your booking. The information is destroyed almost immediately thereafter.

What is your cancellation policy?
A
Please click here for our full cancellation policy. In summary, all tour reservations are fully refundable and changeable up to 24 hours prior to departure. Inside 24 hours all reservations are non-refundable.

Can I book a tour when I arrive?
A
Of course! We are happy to take booking on arrival. However, the best prices are available online and in advance!

When do I receive my booking confirmation?
A
Immediately after booking we will send you a receipt confirming that we received your booking request. Within 24 hours (though often almost within the hour) you will receive your tour confirmation at the email address you entered during booking.

Can I book over the telephone?
A
Of course! However, better prices may be available online.
Q
What happens if I do not show up?
A
No shows will be cancelled if the passenger(s) has not checked in at least 15 minutes prior to departure. Per our cancellation policy, the reservation would be non-refundable.

I don't know what date I'm traveling yet. Can I book a tour and leave the date open?
A
Not at this time.
Q
I keep getting a credit card declined error message while trying to book. What do I do?
A
Our reservation center staff are very knowledgeable and will be happy to help you complete your booking.

It has been 24 hours since I booked and I have not received my booking confirmation. I'm not sure if my booking was processed?
A
We go to great lengths to insure that your booking confirmations get through to you. However, in this era of spam filters and automatic mail sorters things can get lost. If you have not received your confirmation please contact our reservations center.

When sending a special inquiry or request, what do I do if I don't get an answer within 24 hours?
A
Depending on the complexity of your request it could take slightly longer then 24 hours to respond. We don't wish to waste your time with pointless emails and, as such, will only respond with emails of substance. If you have an urgent need please feel free to contact our reservations center.

Do you have a fuel surcharge?
A
Yes, however the surcharge is already included in the price of any tour booked online.

Do you have an overweight surcharge?
A
Not on our tour coaches. However, helicopters and tour airplanes are very sensitive to weight and weight distribution. As such anyone weighing over 275lbs could be subject to additional fees at check-in for tours that involve aircraft.

I need to change the passenger names in my booking. What do I do?
A
Passenger name changes can be made by contacting our reservations department.

I would like to change the date of my tour. What do I do?
A
Contact our reservations center to make the change in advance. Please note that changes and cancellations are subject to our cancellation policy.

If I book online or on the phone and then find a coupon can I get the difference as a credit?
A
No, coupon codes need to be mentioned at the time of booking. Coupons have limited offer dates, expiration dates or are based on availability.

Can I change or amend my booking?
A
Bookings may be modified up to 24 hours prior to flight time.

I need to cancel my booking.
