Your bus tour then takes you, via a tunnel, to the base of the Glen Canyon Dam. At the bottom the Dam towers up nearly 71 stories and makes for very impressive pictures. During your Grand Canyon rafting trip enjoy a 15.5 mile float trip down the Colorado River, surrounded by beauty and peace found only in the deep canyon. The rafting tour stops for a short hike to explore ancient petroglyphs and to enjoy a picnic style box lunch in the cool shade next to the river.
